The Corbans Trip

Yesterday we went to a Corbans trip.
Who went? Mokoroa, Kaiwhare and Haumia went together.
We wanted to the to learn more about the Pacific islands at the Corbans Estate in Henderson.

First we did drumming. There was a big drum. There was a long drum and a skin drum. Then we got to learn the drums. First the parents showed the children then the children got to do it.

     

Then we moved to the next workshop. It was lei making. First Mama Mata showed us the pattern Then we got to do it ourselves. Flower, straw, flower, straw. I was making it for my mum.

Finally the dance we were doing was called the Hula. It was a really fun dance.

My Report About Ankylosaurus

Hi Bloggers. In class I have been writing a report about Ankylosaurus because I like that they are tough.

First we planned our writing. Then I researched the information I needed. Then I wrote each paragraph about each new idea.
